In my science class, we were doing a measurement lab this week. I really enjoy teaching science. I am certified in elementary ed and special ed and I am highly qualified in Science. If I had it to do over again, I would have gotten a Science certificate in there somehow.

This is part of my snowman collection. I didn't set out to have a snowman collection, but I ended up with one anyways. I think they are cute and I enjoy them. It help me get through the very very long Midwest winter.

PHYSICAL THERAPY

I have been going to physical therapy now for about a month for arthritis in my knees. This is the machine that I have come to love. This has helped me build up strength in my knees without having the wear and tear that happens with gravity.

This is the McHenry Outdoor theater. I believe it is one of the last few running outdoor theaters in this country. It is one of the things that I like about living in a relatively small community.

This picture is interesting to me because my student's thought it was so cool that you could look right at the sun through the clouds. I am often quite surprised at what amazes my students. It also made me really happy because one of my goals is always for my students to notice the world around them.

This is my 10% key ring that I earned from Weight Watchers. I have lost 10% of my weight. I have discovered that I really really like food. I am trying to have a less abusive relationship with food.

Today was the second day of severe weather. When I took this picture, it was about 7:30 am and -19 degrees (before the wind chill). School was cancelled yesterday, but our Institute Day today was not cancelled. I whined all the way to work. This picture was taken in the parking lot of the other school in my district.
